Keeping It Real In Real Estate!
First, let me start by saying WELCOME to the first official Blog post by the Knox Bowermaster Team. We intend to use this as a look into the real estate world, good, bad and ugly. We will be writing posts, as well as video logs so that you can get face to face with us and see what it is all about! While I (Teri Bowermaster) will be writing the majority of our posts, you'll also be hearing from all of our team agents, admins, clients and colleagues. We feel it's best to get to know everyone and see their individual takes!
I want to start with our first post being simply about who we are and why we love our careers. Moving forward, each post will be different, containing Q&A's, educational info, and even just some fun random behind the scenes of our day to day in real estate. Trust me when I say, its not all HGTV makes it out to be!
Our team consists of multiple agents that stem from years of experience in the field to brand new to business agents that are eager and hungry to learn. We specialize in the Carlisle and surrounding areas, and truly love what we do. In addition to our amazing agents, we also have top notch behind the scenes staff who keep our business sailing along smoothly. You can meet everyone at our website Team page here: Meet the Team
At our team we truly believe that every client is top priority and whether you're buying/selling a thousand dollar home or a million dollar home, you are all treated with the same equal importance and professionalism. We also believe in ensuring that each transaction turns into a relationship. With us you are never just another deal, you are family and friend and will remain a part of our lives forever and always.
Let's be honest, you want to know what things are really like for us. Truth of the matter is, we really love what we do. Is it stressful? YES! Are there days where we question our career choice? ALMOST EVERY! We curse, we cry, we drink, we get overly frustrated, and boy oh boy do we HATE Zillow and HGTV! But there is never a day that goes by that we regret getting into this career. We act as therapists almost 7 days a week, we have to know just as much as the mortgage lenders and title agents, and we have to ensure that we stay on top of absolutely everything. We spend more time on the phone doing business than we actually do talking to our families, and vacations are almost ALWAYS a working trip, BUT we would never want to do anything else! Man, I can't even begin to describe how rewarding it is to hand a client their new home keys, or to present clients with an amazing offer on their listing. The friendships we've made over the years, the relationships we've built - there are simply no words to describe how grateful we are to be apart of this field. Rest assured, if you work with one of us, you will always have someone looking out for you and to be a friend for life.
Are you another real estate agent reading this? Are you agreeing with us or completely diagreeing? Either is fine, as everyone has their own opinions and own ways of handling their business. We support and appreciate you. If you're that agent that wants to know how we handle it all because you feel like you just can't get ahead, or you have yet to be able to say that you truly love your career - the answer is simple! You NEED to find the balance. You need to have amazing support both in the office and at home 24/7. You need to be able to roll with the punches or at least have someone standing beside you helping you swing. Everyone does things differently in the job, and everyone is equally talented, some good and bad. Whether you are an independent agent flying solo in your brokerage, or you are apart of another team, everyone deserves to have unyielding support and fun. After all, if it isn't fun it's not worth doing! If you can't sit back and say that this applies to you, then you're at the wrong place or in the wrong career - point blank! This is where I insert my shameless plug about how if you would like to know more about being apart of our team, don't hesitate to contact me, I am always happy to chat!
In summary, in case you haven't gotten it, our team absolutely loves what we do and the relationships we build. We would never want to do anything else, and we hope that our passion for our careers shows in each step we take with our clients, friends and family!
Until next time, thanks for stopping by! ~ Teri
